Greased leather is particularly soft yet durable for everyday wear seen through its extensive use throughout horse equipment. Smooth leather has the characteristics to soften and darken with time and wear, thus developing its very own unique patina. Just like any other leather products, regular maintenance through conditioning will help the dog collars, dog leads and dog harnesses to last for many years.
Due to the characteristics of braided natural leather, the collar has the tendency to stretch over time. If the measurements are between 2 sizes, we recommend opting for the smaller size.
Material & Care Instructions
Regular greasing helps to keep the leather soft and supple. Since we process the leather as naturally as possible, slight discoloration may occur in very rare cases: Do not expose the dyed greased leather to excessive moisture to avoid possible discoloration.
